Photos and videos from the celebrity hockey game

As we’ve mentioned yesterday, Simple Plan’s drummer – Chuck Comeau – was last night one of the stars of the special charity celebrity hockey game, which took place in the Stampede Center in Los Angeles right after the Kings vs. Washington Capitals game.

The game was broadcast live on NHL.com and it looked like everybody was having fun! The two teams that played were simply called “black” and “white” teams (named after the colour of their jerseys of course). Chuck was a player of the black team, his hockey jersey’s number was “30” and it naturally include a COMEAU sign. Chuck’s teammates were for instance actors Cuba Gooding Jr. and Michael Vartan.

The match lasted two 25-minute periods and ended with the victory of the black (Chuck’s) team – the final score was 7:5. As the most active and the best player was chosen Cuba Gooding Jr., who had scored 3 goals. But our Chuck Comeau also did a great job on the ice, as he scored one goal himself!

Chuck wrote on his Twitter afterwards that a lot of money has been raised thanks to this event and it will all go to the City of Hope organisation and the LA Kings Foundation.

You can already find some of our screencaps of Chuck from the live show (though, the quality of the caps is really low) – for example you can find there one pretty good screencap of Chuck Comeau and David Boreanaz. :)

In the last minute of the game, all the players came on the ice. You can check out the few final seconds of it here:
