Schedule of album release week promo

Next week is going to be a big one for the guys from Simple Plan! Their new album “Taking One For The Team” is coming out on Friday and the boys have lots of promo stuff to do prior to it. That’s why I decided to sum up everything that we know of so far that should be taking place this coming week – either actual SP appearances or when certain radio/TV shows they pre-taped will air.

MONDAY
February 15th
Salvail
Simple Plan will be attending the taping of the show hosted by Eric Salvail. The episode will air on Tuesday.
Ménage à trois
A special with Simple Plan on their friend’s Patrick Langlois‘ show will air on Monday on Canadian channel V. The special has been pre-taped a couple months ago.
TUESDAY
February 16th
Le 5 a 7
Simple Plan will be in this programme on the RDS channel on Tuesday at 5pm EST discussing the sport-themed photoshoot for their album cover.
WEDNESDAY
February 17th
Charitable concert in Windsor
Simple Plan will officially kick off their world tour in Windsor, Canada, where they will perform at a benefit concert, supporting Transition to Betterness at The Olde Walkerville Theatre. Simple Plan will hit the stage at 8:30pm EST.
THURSDAY
February 18th
Toronto Maple Leafs game
In the team spirit that revolves around the new SP album, some lucky winners of the contest over at KISS 92.5 radio will be able to enjoy the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey match at the Air Canada Centre from a private room right next to the members of SP.
FRIDAY
February 19th
Release day
On this day, Simple Plan will officially release their new record “Taking One For The Team”.
Idobi Radio
At 7pm EST, idobi radio will be airing a pre-taped special, playing their new record front to back with the members of the band discussing each of the songs on the album.
CBC First Play
Simple Plan should be attending the taping of the CBC Music programme in Toronto, Canada at 6:45pm.
SATURDAY
February 20th
Music video
Simple Plan will be filming their 60s inspired music video for their upcoming single “Singing In The Rain” in Toronto, Canada.
