The guys have kept their promise and the first bunch of new Simple Plan tourdates is out! Because in the past few years Simple Plan have been neglecting their US fans, it was obvious that the first concerts had to be played right there – particularly this June and July on Warped Tour 2011, along with bands like Enter Shikari or Every Avenue.
But the rest of you, dear world, don’t have to worry: the guys promised in their latest official post that they will be releasing more tourdates as soon as possible!
We are really excited to get back on tour and to announce the first SP tour dates of 2011! We can’t wait to do Warped Tour again and hang out with our fans this summer. It was really important to us to announce some US tour dates right away because we know we’ve neglected our awesome US fans on the last album. We know we’re not hitting every state and that some of you might be a little bummed, but we promise things will be different this time around and we will be playing tons of shows all over the country in the months to come. Please be patient…this is just the beginning.
For all our other fans around the world, don’t worry if you don’t see your country / city on this first batch of dates. We are planning to tour all over the world and play tons of shows when the new record comes out. We will come see you very soon and will announce more shows as soon as we can. Thank you so much for being so patient. We can’t wait to play you our new songs.
