Simple Plan to feature saxophones and trumpets on new album

While David, Sebastien and Jeff are back home in Canada for a while, Pierre and Chuck stayed behind in LA and keep on working on the band’s new album. Because their fellow bandmates are not on hand, it was a great opportunity for Pierre and Chuck to take care of the recording parts that don’t necessarily involve Jeff, David and Seb, which is why they invited three talented musicians to lay some brass (such as the trumpet, the baritone sax or the tenor sax) on the new album: Miguel Gandelman, Mike Eyia and Ludo Louis.

Miguel Gandelman is a saxophone player, who often appeared in The Tonight Show Band, and also had his sax input on some of the albums and tours by The Black Eyed Peas, Justin Timblerlake, Stevie Wonder, Christina Aguilera or Mariah Carey. Mike Eyia also rocks the saxophone, but also masters other instruments, such as the flute, clarinet, piano or percussions. He recently performed alongside singer/actress Rumer Willis in Hollywood. And finally, Ludo Louis plays the trumpet, most notoriously for Lenny Kravitz.
