The 22nd annual Jim Beam INDIES took place on June 8th 2023 in Toronto as part of the Canadian Music Week. Simple Plan were nominated in two categories at the awards: Artist of the Year and Rock Artist of the Year – and in the end, the band brought home a win in the latter category, winning the Rock Artist of the Year award. Congratulations!
This is the first time for Simple Plan to win an independent music award ever since becoming label-free since their latest release ‘Harder Than It Looks’ (2022). Since Simple Plan were in Europe at that time, the award will be awarded in person later.
