If you have been checking SimplePlan.cz’s Facebook and Twitter yesterday, then you had a chance to listen to a broadcast of an interview with Simple Plan for the radio station 105, that had been recorded during their short stay in Milan, Italy a few days ago. Hopefully soon we’ll have the interview available for streaming, but until then, you can check out the pictures of the band’s visit of this Italian radio station:
During their short stay in Milan, Italy, Simple Plan managed to do at least one photoshoot – taken by the photographer Paolo Demalde for the CIOE magazine -, which you can now find in high quality in SimplePlan.cz’s gallery:
Yesterday in Rome, Italy, Simple Plan finished their first (March) leg of their European touré with another show for thousands of excited fans. Currently, the boys are on their way back home to Canada, where they will be attending the Fan Fare tomorrow in Ottawa (as a part of the Juno week) and also will receive the humanitarian award for their charitable work with Simple Plan Foundation. After that they have a few weeks off before getting back on the road again and returning to the old continet for the second leg of their European tour in April.

The second to last show of the first leg of the European tour – in Milan, Italy – was insane. After a fan managed to get up on stage during the Simple Plan show, the security caught him and started beating him up.
At that moment Simple Plan stopped playing, Jeff ran after the security and got the fan back inside.. Pierre also mentioned this incident in one of his tweets: “Cheers to Jeff for saving a kid from being beat up by security.” On the video below at mark 2:08 you can see the band’s reaction to seeing the security beating up the fan really bad:
Apart from that, during the final Perfect, another fan jumped on the stage to give Pierre a kiss. You can check it out on the video below at mark 0:49 (thx to Edy for letting me know):
