Jeff to open a new bar “Rufus Rockhead” in January

Simple Plan’s lead guitarist, Jeff Stinco, will soon be expanding his restaurant/bar establishments with a new addition – a bar called “Rufus Rockhead” (named after an owner of a formerly famous nightclub/bar “Rockhead’s Paradise”, established in Montreal in 1928).

Rufus Rockhead, located in the Little Burgundy part of Montreal, will be officially opening on January 17th with a special guest: DJ Jordan Dare. Jeff has already stated on Twitter that he is working very hard on making everything perfect for the opening night – “I’m not leaving anything to chance.”

New Simple Plan EP to come out by the end of 2013

Despite the fact that the guys are still working on the EP and that uptil now it wasn’t really sure if the EP would come out in 2013 or at the beginning of 2014, according to La Tribune, who interviewed Jeff Stinco in Sherbrooke on Tuesday, the new Simple Plan EP should be out by the end of this year.

“As we are not very fast in the production of albums, this will be a way for our fans to wait for a new album with new music in their hands already,” said Jeff.

The artice also reveals that Jeff’s upcoming restaurant project should be opened in January in Petite-Bourgogne and it should be a Japanese restaurant.

Jeff revealed plans for two new restaurants

On May 31st 2013, Jeff Stinco from Simple Plan was one of the 1000 attendees of the famous Apéritif à la française event in Montreal, that celebrates the French cuisine. And while he’s been teasing some of his upcoming restaurant projects on Twitter in the past few months, according to Journal de Montreal he revealed at this event that he would in fact be opening two new dining establishments this fall – one in Petite-Bourgogne and one in Outremont – both parts of Montreal, Canada. These two new projects will add up to the two already thriving establishments that Jeff’s involved in – Mangiafoco and Edgar Hyperlodge [read more about them here].

Jeff is opening his own Italian restaurant in Montreal today

For the last year, Jeff Stinco from Simple Plan has been very busy working on another one of his not-music-related projects (since 2010 Jeff is a co-owner of bar Philemon in Montreal), in which he combined his love for good food with his Italian roots. That resulted in a grand opening of his own Neapolitan pizzeria in Montreal, Canada later today.

Jeff has really put a lot of work into this project but at the same time all this work has been very enjoyable according to him. „My days are super-extremely busy but so much fun. I am working on a non musical project with such energetic and inspiring peeps,“ said Jeff.

Good luck, Jeff!
