When the guys from Simple Plan were at the festival in Valleyfield last weekend, David, Pierre and Jeff were invited for a little boat trip/interview for the program Sucré Salé (thanks Gabrielle for the heads-up). Below you can check out a picture from the taping with Francisco Randez:

Today, Jeff was present at the taping of the TV program called “VLOG” on TVA, hosted by Dominic Arpin, who invites interesting guests for every episode and discusses with them the best new videos and websites that are currently the biggest hit on the Internet.
The episode featuring Jeff will air this Sunday, December 2nd, at 6:30pm on TVA.

Simple Plan along with Marie-Mai, who has collaborated with the band on the song Jet Lag, will appear on a special pre-taped Christmas episode of the “On Connaît La Chanson” game show that will air on TVA on December 9th at 7pm.
The concept of “On Connaît La Chanson”, hosted by Mario Tessier, is for the contestants to sing a song with a live band playing it behind them without the lyrics to the song on screen.
After seeing them imitate The Ramones, Wham!, The Beach Boys, Run DMC and now Les Classels, it seems like dressing up as old classic bands is a Simple Plan thing now. Let me elaborate:
On February 23rd, the guys from Simple Plan attended the taping of a Canadian TV game show called “Fideles au poste”, that airs every Thursday at 8pm on TVA. Hosted by Eric Salvail (who you may remember from hosting a few Simple Plan Foundation events in the past), each episode of this show has 6 people split into 2 teams who compete in singing old classics from the archives of the TVA channel, that go all the way back to 1961.
Simple Plan will appear as special guests on the episode that airs next Thursday, March 8th, along with Gilles Girard – the lead singer of an old Canadian band called “Les Classels” (1964-1971). Together they will perform one song from Les Classels – all dressed up the same way this band used to – with white wigs and everything, and then they will continue with the French version of Jet Lag, where Gilles Girard provides the female vocal parts.
Oh… and if you can’t tell, Simple Plan are the ones on the picture on top. The handsome gentlemen in white below are Les Classels.
