Props from the filming of Singing In The Rain video up for auction on Ebay

Our colleagues over at SPB made a curious discovery: a very interesting bunch of objects recently appeared on Ebay, which may be a great addition to any Simple Plan collection – that is, if you’re willing to pay for it!

An unknown member of the crew involved in the making of the music video for ‘Singing In The Rain’ (filmed in April 2016) got ahold of two pieces of props from the filming: two pieces of fake vinyl records for ‘Singing In The Rain’ made exclusively for the purposes of this video, which have also been used multiple times in the actual music video [e.g. check out mark 1:46 in the music video], as is now offering them in an auction on Ebay.

The bidding for the records started at $100 and as of writing this article, there have not been any bids made to purchase these two items. If you’re interested in purchasing this piece of Simple Plan memorabilia, check out the auction site here.

Exclusive look at the limited edition Warped Rewind At Sea vinyl feat. SP

The mailboxes of some of the lucky attendees of the recent Warped Rewind At Sea cruise were recently filled with a very special package: a limited edition Warped Rewind At Sea: 2017 Cruise Compilation vinyl.

This special vinyl was printed and sent out only to the first 300 people, who secured their cabin at the Warped cruise by January 31st 2017 and therefore its a very rare collector’s item.

Since Simple Plan were one of the acts on this special October cruise, one of their songs is of course a part of this compilation and it’s none other than ‘I’d Do Anything’ – and its live version from Melbourne in particular.

Below you can check out the full tracklist of the vinyl and also what it looks like in real life:

Side A:

Good Charlotte – Keep Swingin’
Face To Face – Double Crossed
Mayday Parade – One Of Them Will Destroy The Other
Cartel – Honestly (Live)
American Hi-Fi – Flavor Of The Week (Acoustic)
Simple Plan – I’d Do Anything (Live From Melbourne)

Side B:

The Starting Line – Island
Bowling For Soup – She Used To Be Mine
Reel Big Fish – Imaginary Friend (acoustic)
3OH!3 – Black Box
Aaron Gillespie – A Boy Brushes Red… Living In Black And White
Less Than Jake – Crazy

VIDEO: Members of The Vamps purchase Simple Plan’s NPNHJB on vinyl

As we’ve informed you a couple weeks ago, UMusic took the members of the band The Vamps out for vinyl record shopping spree and one of vinyls that the members chose to buy was Simple Plan’s debut album ‘No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls’, which coincidentally also celebrates its 15th anniversary this year.

This time around, UMusic also released a video from this shopping spree, which features SP’s record a number of times in the clip. The record was picked up by the band’s bassist, Connor Ball, who addmitted he’s been listening to Simple Plan ever since he was about 11 years old. Check out the full video below:

Bass player of The Vamps picks up his new No Pads vinyl

The Canadian Universal Music’s Twitter account revealed yesterday that the record label took the members of the popular British band The Vamps record shopping and the picture they posted revealed to us that one of the band members actually picked up a record quite known to us!

Yes, Connor Ball, the bass player for The Vamps bought a copy of the brand new limited edition of Simple Plan’s ‘No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls’ vinyl and proudly posed with it along side other purchases (such as Twenty One Pilots or Green Day) on the photo taken by Universal. We like his taste!

It also seems like they filmed an episode of the label’s series “The LP Spree” at the record store, which could potentially mean the band members discussing Simple Plan’s debut album. We’ll keep you updated when it comes out!

In the meantime, check out the aforementioned picture below:

VIDEO: Chuck and Jeff announce the release of the No Pads vinyl

Even though the vinyl has already been out in Europe in June, North America will officially start releasing Simple Plan’s first album on these special red vinyls on August 18th [check out where you can order them here].

And to support its release, Chuck and Jeff decided to film a little video introducing this limited edition vinyls. Check it out below:
