Simple Plan’s collaboration with Kiehl’s raised $40 000

Kiehl’s has just officially announced the outcome of their collaboration with Simple Plan that took place in September. The Canadian band partnered up with the cosmetic brand for the production of a brand new facial cream and for a special acoustic concert in Toronto. All the proceeds from the sale of the cream, of all transations in Kiehl’s during one weekend in September and $1 for every view of the live-stream of the concert were promised to be donated to the Simple Plan Foundation. And as promised, Kiehl’s has now officially announced that they have raised a total of $40 000 which will be donated to the foundation.

Kiehl’s releases new pictures of Simple Plan from Toronto show

Simple Plan live for Kiehl’s

Last night, Simple Plan performed at The Hoxton in Toronto, Canada at the special Kiehl’s Rocks For Kids acoustic concert. The show was also streamed live and by watching it, fans all across the globe helped to raise some more money for the Simple Plan Foundation, as $1 per each view will be donated to the Foundation by Kiehl’s.

Before the show started, the guys from Simple Plan held a soundcheck and also a meet and greet with some lucky fans. You can now check out the first pictures from both – the soundcheck and the meet & greet in the gallery:

The show began with a speech from Chuck thanking the audience at The Hoxton and also online for watching and talked about Simple Plan’s charitable partnership with Kiehl’s. The band then performed all 11 songs that were previously announced on the setlist Kiehl’s Canada revealed a few days ago. You can rewatch the whole show on Youtube here:

Jeff and Chuck today on BT Toronto

The members of Simple Plan are already in Toronto, Canada, where they will be performing an exclusive free acoustic show sponsored by Kiehl’s Canada. The show will be streamed live tonight – from 8pm EST (for most Europeans (GMT+1), that is 2am of the next day), so don’t forget to sign up here and before the stream starts, you will receive an email with a link to the live-stream. 1 dollar per each view will be donated to the Simple Plan Foundation from Kiehl’s, so make sure you watch the show – it’s for a good cause! I will update Facebook and Twitter with the link also, as soon as the stream starts.

And this performance and their partnership with Kiehl’s was exactly the reason why Chuck and Jeff had to get up a little early today to be present in the BT Toronto studios. Breakfast Television holds contest for a VIP trip to the Kiehl’s Simple Plan show

Breakfast Television teamed up with Kiehl’s Canada and Simple Plan and put together a very cool contest for the Canadian fans of Simple Plan! According to the Facebook post of the Vancouver version of Breakfast Television, one lucky viewer and his plus one will win a flight to Toronto on September 19th (and a flight back the day after of course), one night at a luxury hotel, dinner and limo service plus VIP access to the acoustic Simple Plan concert in collaboration with Kiehl’s [which will be streamed live]. The pair will also get to meet Simple Plan during a meet & greet, enjoy a pampering experience at a Kiehl’s store and leave with Kiehl’s products valued at $150 for each of them! In total, the prize is worth $2500.
