David, Pierre and Jeff from Simple Plan along with their friend and photographer Chady Awad got to hang out with one of their old friend, Marko Desantis, the lead guitarist for Sugarcult.

The whole band is finally back in Los Angeles again and started getting more work done on their upcoming fifth record. Yesterday the guys finished some more guitars parts and as you can see from the updated picture of the progress board since the last update, the guys also progressed with the vocals and are getting very close to the finish line:
A brand new book called “Chefs de familie” by Émilie Villeneuve and Clémence Risler that’s coming out tomorrow, April 9th 2015, focuses on the culinary practices of 20 personalities from the Quebec restaurant scene in their private lives – how they prepare meals for their children, what sort of dishes they tend to cook for their families etc.
As Jeff Stinco has become a vital part in the restaurant scene in Montreal, it was only fitting that he’d be one of the personalities interviewed for this book. In fact, the illustrator of the book Benoît Tardif depicted Jeff cooking with his two daughters Zoé and Maya in the following illustration that is also used in the book:

As Jeff put it, David decided to turn Chuck and Pierre vegan, which is why he took them to a local vegan restaurant in West Hollywood called Gracias Madre, where the three of them had dinner last night.

While some of the members of the band returned to Canada to their families for a little while, the rest of the band keeps working on more new Simple Plan songs. Pierre and Chuck have been killing it in Chuck’s home studio coming up with new material and Chady took a couple of new pictures of them.
