Jeff and Chuck today on BT Toronto

The members of Simple Plan are already in Toronto, Canada, where they will be performing an exclusive free acoustic show sponsored by Kiehl’s Canada. The show will be streamed live tonight – from 8pm EST (for most Europeans (GMT+1), that is 2am of the next day), so don’t forget to sign up here and before the stream starts, you will receive an email with a link to the live-stream. 1 dollar per each view will be donated to the Simple Plan Foundation from Kiehl’s, so make sure you watch the show – it’s for a good cause! I will update Facebook and Twitter with the link also, as soon as the stream starts.

And this performance and their partnership with Kiehl’s was exactly the reason why Chuck and Jeff had to get up a little early today to be present in the BT Toronto studios. The videos from their appearance at BT Toronto should be available later and until then, here’s a few pictures of Chuck and Jeff from this morning:

Update: City TV uploaded the first video that features a short part of the interview with Chuck and Jeff. Check it out:

Interview with Jeff from Notable Fusion

On July 31st Jeff Stinco attended the Notable Fusion event in Montreal – particularly Ethan Song’s (Frank and Oak) lecture about his path as an entrepreneur. There, he also gave a short interview to David Adelman, in which Jeff talks about how sudden the success of Simple Plan was for the members of the band. Check it out:

New videos regarding Simple Plan’s “Kiehl’s Rocks For Kids” show

Kiehl’s Canada posted a couple of brand new videos regarding the upcoming acoustic Simple Plan concert – “Kiehl’s Rocks For Kids” – that will take place on September 19th in Toronto, Canada. Limited amount of tickets for this special show will be available for free in all the Kiehl’s stores across Ontario starting September 13th. The show will also be streamed live on the Internet and Kiehl’s will donate $1 per view to the Simple Plan Foundation.

Below you can check out the video of the band inviting their fans to the show:

Simple Plan to be honored at Teenzfav awards 2014!

According to the video posted on Vimeo a month ago, Simple Plan will be honored with a yet unknown award at this year’s Teenzfav awards (big thanks to Bruno for letting me know)! The video uses the lesser known version (most probably demo version) of “This Song Saved My Life” which we first heard in this video that had been made for Toby Gad as a promo for SP.

So far, only little is known about the 2014 Teenzfav awards, which have been nicknamed the “Canadian version of Teen Choice Awards”. All the award show’s online social media have been rather silent and the only other information, besides the honoring of Simple Plan, is that the award show will be presented by 3OH!3 this year. Last year’s Teenzfav awards took place in Toronto, ON in September.

Kiehl’s Twitter chat: Simple Plan confirm collaboration with 5SOS is in works

On Tuesday evening, all the members of Simple Plan who reside in Montreal – Jeff, Sebastien and David – took part in the launch of the charity program Kiehl’s Rocks For Kids at the Kiehl’s store in Montreal, Canada. This program includes the following four initiatives:

limited edition of the Ultra Facial Cream: this product will be available in all the Kiehl’s stores in Canada with 100% net profit going to the Simple Plan Foundation.
for every transaction made at Kiehl’s between September 12th and 14th 2014, Kiehl’s will donate $1 to the Simple Plan Foundation.
acoustic performance of Simple Plan: the band will perform a special acoustic concert in Toronto, Canada on September 19th. The tickets will be given away for free at Toronto Kiehl’s stores starting September 13th and also through a contest on Breakfast Television.
live-stream of the concert: the show will be streamed online for all the fans, who donate $1 per view for the Simple Plan Foundation.

The company’s goal is to raise $40 000 for the Simple Plan Foundation through these initiatives.

During the evening at the Kiehl’s store, the members of Simple Plan gave out a couple of interviews to the media (which should be available soon – stay tuned!) and after that sat down with a laptop to answer the fans’ questions that have been sent in in advance using special hashtags on Twitter. You can check out all the fan questions and answers at @kiehlscanada. One answer that stood out was the band’s indirect confirmation of the rumor that there is indeed something coming up between Simple Plan and the Australian band 5 Seconds Of Summer in the future. See the tweet below:

The boys also helped the local Kiehl’s team with the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge – which you can see on a video here. And finally: in the gallery you can now check out the first pictures of David, Jeff and Sebastien from last night’s appearance at the Kiehl’s store:
