Simple Plan on the NRJ radio station in France

During yesterday, the guys from Simple Plan had visited a few radio stations and gave lots and lots of interviews – all that before their big concert later that evening in Paris, France. One of the radio stations that had the honour to have the boys was NRJ – the same station that hosted the NRJ awards earlier this year, where Simple Plan along with Marie-Mai won the award for the best francophone duo/band of the year.

Video from Sean Paul’s and Pierre Bouvier’s party

As you already know from the previous news, last week, during the recording of a new music video for Summer Paradise, Sean Paul hosted a party in a new club called PRIVA on Barbados. Among the attendees were for example both of the directors of the music video: Randall “RT!” Thorne and Mark Staubach, and also most importantly Pierre Bouvier from Simple Plan with his girlfriend Lachelle Farrar.

You’ve already seen the pictures from the party and now it’s time for a video – below you can check out one, which will show you a sneak peak of what this party (which is also said to be co-hosted by Pierre) looked like:

Simple Plan’s interview at Ça finit bien la semaine & English recap

Three members of Simple Plan: Jeff, Chuck and Sebastien were recently featured in TV programme called Ça finit bien la semaine, where they were interviewed about their current campaigns, charitable work, expenses and fans. Check out the French interview in the video or (thanks to Sab) a short recap of the interview in English below:

The interviewer asks what the guys’ moms said about their naked picture (the Centraide campaigne):
– Jeff’s mom said ‘Jean Francois?! What have you done there?!’ – she wasn’t really happy about that.
– Chuck’s dad was in a meeting and he was like ‘Uh… well… that’s a good campaign…’

Seb says they consider themselves a married couple without sex involved, but the problem is that when they argue they can’t have sex to fix the situation.

They call Brazilian fans ‘zombies’ because of the fact that they chase them everywhere, run after them or their van and knock on the windows. But it makes them happy.

– David is the one that spends the most money. He is able to buy a new bass as soon as he sees it and wants it.
– Jeff is the most vindictive, but he also goes to the person and says ‘it’s okay now, we are cool’ and never talks about the argument again.

The interviewers gave $500 to the Simple Plan Foundation.

First, Simple Plan performed one hit from an old Canadian band called Les Classels – along with their lead singer Gilles Girard and then also with their own single Jet Lag:

Drum Hang’s interview with Chuck Comeau

In the past couple of months, lots and lots of interviews with the members of Simple Plan appeared on the Internet, yet most of them dealt with questions to which we’ve heard the answers million times before. That’s why I’m only trying to point out those interviews that bring us some new and interesting info.

One of these interesting interviews is the new one that was made by Cam Patterson for the server Drum Hang with Simple Plan’s drummer Chuck Comeau, where Chuck talks about his drum kit, technique and drum idols.
