Simple Plan have finally released on their official website their third music video from their latest record Get Your Heart On!, and at the same time for their second single: “Astronaut”!
Check out the whole music video below and make sure to leave your thoughts on it in the comments section below:
The music video for “Astronaut” is premiering in only two days (on Monday, September 19th), so naturally we’re getting more and more info as the premiere day gets closer. After showing us a set of beautiful pictures from the shooting of the astronaut scenes yesterday, today the guys decided to show us a video from behind the scenes of the videoclip – particularly from the scenes where the band plays:
Seems like the announcements of new Simple Plan tours have no ending in sight: the band has announced yesterday that they are planning a huge Canadian tour in February 2012. And Simple Plan will again be taking 3 more bands with them on this tour: Marianas Trench, These Kids Wear Crowns and All Time Low! And just like the US tour, the band announced this one in a new video:
The exact tourdates will be revealed on September 19th.
To celebrate the opening of a new Best Buy store in Quebec City, Canada, the store is hosting a big concert in Pepsi Coliseum on September 17th. Two tickets to this show will be given to the first 325 customers of the store every day in the week beterrn September 9th and 14th. Among the artists performing at this event will be Simple Plan and also their friend Marie-Mai, who sings on the French version of their current single Jet Lag.
All the artists will also be signing to their fans in the afternoon before the concert. Below you can check out the accompanying video (in French), in which the guys are inviting their fans to this show:
Since the whole Prague craze is finally behind us, let’s get back to some other news not directly connected to Prague. The guys have visited Poland a couple days ago and recorded another vlog, where they’re talking about the most recent news in the SP world. Check it out below:
So it’s clear that it’s been confirmed that Simple Plan really are coming back to Brazil. The band will be performing at the SWU festival on November 14th in Sao Paolo.
Also I’ve received some more news from Poland: apparently Simple Plan are already planning another European tour (mostly to make it up to all the fans who’s shows have been cancelled due to Pierre’s medical condition): the tour should be 7 weeks long and should happen somewhere around February and March 2012. Also, both Poland and the Czech Republic should be among the countries SP plan to visit again. This information is not official, there are no official dates confirmed.
And a little cherry on top of the great news: here are the first pictures from today, when Simple Plan performed (just like last year) on the I-Day Festival in Bologna, Italy. The photos are from backstage and also from the meet&greet with fans:
