On one of their recent shows in the U.S., Simple Plan met a couple, who asked them to help announce their pregnancy to their friends and family. And they did. Check out the following video which was picked up by the local TV channel WSBT 22:

To get you even more excited about the return of the No Pads tour (starting again in August), SimplePlan.cz prepared an exclusive series of “No Pads special” articles, giving you little possibly never-seen-or-heard-before interesting flashbacks to the No Pads era.

Another No Pads special by SimplePlan.cz is here and this time around it’s a very very special one! For the longest time, Simple Plan have prided themselves to be the original founders of vlogging, since their website SimplePlan.com has always been updated with short “vlogs” (although SP first “coined” the term in a Chuck & Seb vlog in 2006), documenting the band’s activites.
Unfortunately most of the videos were published before the era of YouTube began in 2005 and Simple Plan’s official website has changed a number of times since then, deleting its archives in the process. But – as you know, nothing you put on the Internet is ever truly gone, so SimplePlan.cz managed to recover some (not all, but at least some) of these very very old vlogs, which I’m sure some of you may have never even seen before – since some they date even back to 2001!
Some of this footage has been used in the DVD, but these include some extended scenes, which you may have not seen before. I have a lot more coming for you in the upcoming weeks, so let me know if you’re interested in seeing more.

Simple Plan publish HQ video of their live MXPX cover feat. Mike Herrera
As we reported a couple days ago, Simple Plan invited their old friend Mike Herrera from MXPX on stage on the first Seattle and together they performed a live cover of MXPX’s song ‘Responsibility’.

Simple Plan hitchhiked to Vancouver to play first show of their Canadian tour
After Seattle, the guys from Simple Plan were supposed to kick off their Canadian tour two days later in Vancouver, however they almost didn’t make it there. As luck would have it, due to some issues at the U.S./Canadian border, which wouldn’t clear their tourbus to enter Canada for at least a few hours, Chuck and Jeff took a cab to Vancouver, while Pierre, Seb and Chady were aiming at an Uber.
Unfortunately, Uber doesn’t operate in Vancouver, so after not being able to find any around, Chady decided to save the situation by hitchhiking. And since the guys were already pretty much in Canada, its known hospitality proved itself just a moment later! A nice guy named Sean immediately stopped for the trio and gave them a ride all the way to Vancouver.
The guys then invited Sean to their show and he filmed the moment they spoke about him on stage. Check out the story from Pierre’s words below:

Sebastien to be featured on the Mike Herrera Hour podcast
As many have guessed, after Simple Plan invited their old pal Mike Herrera from MXPX on stage the first night in Seattle, Mike Herrera decided to return the favor and invited one member of Simple Plan to join him on his podcast the following day. The choice was obvious: Sebastien. Since Seb has a podcast of his own, on the same radio station (Idobi radio), the two had loads to discuss.
