Since SP.cz is a Czech website and I’m a huge hockey fan myself, i can’t help but announce that the Czech Republic won gold in the IIHF World Hockey Championship by beating Russia 2:1 in yesterday’s finals. Czech Republic became (after many years of bad success) once again a world hockey champion!
And why am I mentioning it on a Simple Plan website? Just for the fact that they are from Canada, it’s obvious for the Simple Plan members that they love hockey. Chuck even watch our last game against Sweden in semi-finals on Saturday! I had the opportunity to ask him if he watched the finals as well and what he thought of the result. And here is is answer:
“I missed it. But that’s amazing! Congrats! I can’t believe you guys beat Sweden and Russia!”.
