In a recent phone interview Jeff Stinco did with Kim Rusk for her show Kim Rock on the CKOI 96.9 radio station, the Simple Plan guitarist revealed some very interesting personal stories that he has never mentioned before – including who was his first celebrity crush. Kim: What was the first rock album you bought?
Jeff: I would say George Michael. It’s actually the first ever album I bought.Kim: Good choice! What music do you listen to in your car?
Jeff: Pearl Jam “Alive”Kim: Do you sing “Alive” in your car?
Jeff: In my shower. Nobody listens to me so I can sing very loud but sometimes I realize that the window is open and my neighbors must think: “What’s going on?” [laughs]Kim: What is the worst song about love – the one that hurts?
Jeff: Def Leppard – “Love Bites”. That song really hurts. I don’t know why, I don’t even understand what he even says sometimes.. [laughs]Kim: The best guitar solo you’ve ever heard?
Jeff: Guns N’ Roses – “Sweet Child O’Mine”Kim: Who was your first celebrity crush?
Jeff: I was really young… There were not all those tv shows that are there nowadays… It took me some time to find out that Boy George was actually a man. I admit that I found him cute… [laughs]Kim: Do you have memories to tell?
Jeff: I went to the playboy mansion and I’ve seen things that should not be seen, even for a musician.Kim: Have you ever made love in the playboy mansion?
Jeff: No comment… [laughs]Kim: [laughs] Thank you Jeff, you’re adorable!
