I have uploaded a new promo poster for one of Simple Plan’s only upcoming headlining shows in Europe – in St-Petersburg, Russia (the only other is in Vienna, Austria, rest are festivals) on June 11th in a club coincidentally called “Astronaut” in translation. As you can see from the image below, the show appears to be age restricted – for 16+ only. Such restrictions (that are usually set by the local venue, never by the band itself, as Simple Plan aim for all their shows to be for all ages) are of course very unfortunate for the younger fans – but according to the promoters, if the less than 16-year-olds are accompanied by an adult, everything should be a-okay and they should be allowed in.
