Update: According to the band, this is only a rumor.
After the boys are be done with their South-American tour at the end of October, the boys will be heading back to Canada to rest for a few days before once again flying to Europe for one festival in Spain (and then again coming back for almost rest of the year). But in between all that, Simple Plan will be having a little jam-session in Montreal-North on November 2nd in order to have motorists avoid the area of the Monselet street!
According to the report, the district authorities are already planning to partically or completely close the street of Monselet because of this special event. Also, giant screens will be set outside to allow everyone to watch the band’s performance. Those who would like to attend the event, must be present at the intersection of the Monselet street and Bruxelles avenue at 5pm.
The whole event is organised by the Musique X project that Simple Plan have been supporting via their Foundation for many years now.
