After months of this song being available only on Canadian and French radios and local Spotify, you too can now finally enjoy the full version of the French version of Simple Plan’s new song “I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed” feat. Nelly.
Which version do you like better – the French or the original English one?
On Friday we first found out that Simple Plan’s new single “I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed” will be available also in a French version and for the first time we can listen to a preview of this version (big thanks to Michela for letting me know)!

Earlier this morning, Jeff Stinco appeared on the Canadian CKOI radio station, where he was set to premiere Simple Plan’s new single “I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed”. However to a huge surprise to all the fans who were listening, the song that Jeff premiered wasn’t the English version of the song that we got to hear yesterday for the first time, but a French version.
According to Bianca, who was listening to the live stream, the structure of the song is similar to Jet Lag’s French version – that is, French verses and an English chorus.
As of right now, the audio of the French version is not available anywhere, but I’m sure we’ll get to hear it in time. It is also currently unknown whether the French version will be featured on the album, but if Jet Lag’s French version is any indication, fans from France or Canada may expect it on their editions of the album, or we may also get it in the form of a bonus song.
On September 3rd, Simple Plan performed at the sold-out venue Le Trianon in Paris, France, which must have been a night to remember for all the attendees. Check out the 18-song setlist the guys played (same as in Luxembourg and Lyon):

Thanks to Camille I’ve learned that on Saturday when Simple Plan played in Levis, Canada at Festiventu, they also included a little French part during their performance of Summer Paradise. It is the first time that the band has played the French version of this song live and you can check out a recording of it below:
