VIDEO: Simple Plan pose for pictures with hundreds of fans at Mexico City airport
When Simple Plan landed in Mexico City, hundreds of fans were waiting there to greet them and they were not let down by the band, who, despite being advised not to by the security, took tens of minutes to take pictures and sign to every fan there.

As you might have already read, during the show in Mexico City, Mexico last week, Simple Plan got ahold of a piñata, given to them by one of the fans, which they decided to take advantage of during their live set.

Mexico City recap: biggest show of TOFTT tour
The July 21st date was reserved for Simple Plan’s show in Mexico City, Mexico, which was – as the band members have put it – the best show of the Taking One For The Team tour so far, surpassing the band’s other favorites such as Rome, Cologne or Prague.
One of the reasons Mexico City may have earned this title, could be that this was also the biggest show of the tour so far – with over 5000 attendees [before that Simple Plan’s biggest show this year had been Prague with 4000 people]. And it was not just the fans that went crazy – no. Check out the video below, which captures the moment Pierre hit the pinata that appeared on the stage:

VLOG: 500 fans at the airport in Mexico City
The day before last night’s Simple Plan show in Mexico City, the band arrived to the capital city of Mexico, and as it’s become pretty popular over the past few years, the band was greetedby a heard of fans at the airport. And if only it was a heard! According to the boys, as much as 500 fans showed up at the airport, forcing the airport security to advise the band to escape via private exit. However the band assured the security they can handle the fans and that they would like to see them.
