The No Pads tour in the United States continues and most recently it has brought the four members of Simple Plan to Tennessee, where they performed for the very first time in Nashville and also in Louisville.

Back in August, when Simple Plan were set to originally play in Houston, TX as a part of their summer U.S. No Pads tour, their plans were cut short the moment hurricane Harvey hit the Houston area. Due to the imminent danger, the band was forced to cancel the Houston show, as well as the Austin show the following day – all that while promising their local fans they will do everything in their power to reschedule these shows as soon as possible.
Only three months went by and the band kept their promise and finally returned to Houston, TX last night with the first show of the third U.S. leg of their 15th anniversary NPNHJB tour. The fans at both Texas dates – Houston and Austin – have the opportunity to purchase a special limited edition t-shirt with all proceeds going to local charities to help Hurricane Harvey victims. In Houston, the band picked the Greater Houston Community Foundation and in Austin, they chose the Austin Police Operation Blue Santa for Kids toy drive.

Simple Plan’s schedule for the first half of 2018 is slowly starting to fill up as we’re patiently waiting for some new information about it. And while we’ve already heard from various sources that the band will be heading to Australia and Brazil sometime early next year, it still wasn’t clear whether Simple Plan would prolong their 15th anniversary No Pads tour to the next year or not.
That uncertainty is however all gone now! In the latest interview with Niagara This Week, Sebastien has revealed that the band is not only touring Australia and Brazil but also mentioned the whole of South America, as well as the fact that the band will be finishing up their No Pads anniversary tour on these two continents.
As of right now, no official tourdates have been released. Today, Simple Plan are kicking off the last U.S. leg of the No Pads tour in Houston, Texas.
Last night, Simple Plan wrapped up their short Japanese tour and are currently on their way to Hawaii, where the No Pads tour leads them next. The final two shows in Japan took place in Tokyo (where SP played a second show due to a popular demand) and Osaka.
