SNEAK PEEK: Simple Plan – Problem Child

Last night Simple Plan revealed yet another snippet of one of the songs from their upcoming new record “Taking One For The Team” – the ballad “Problem Child”. If you remember, this song was the one that Pierre and Chuck co-wrote with Justin Tranter from Semi Precious Weapons.

You can check out the snippet and all the lyrics that have been revealed to the song so far under the video:

SNEAK PEEK: Simple Plan – P.S. I Hate You

As promised, Simple Plan released yet another sneak peek from their new album “Taking One For The Team” which is coming out on February 19th – this time for a song called “P.S. I Hate You”. This song, which is the shortest song on the album, also seems to be the first ever Simple Plan song to feature a particular girl’s name.

Simple Plan showed sneak peeks of new songs on Taratata

Despite the earlier assumptions that Simple Plan would film their appearance at the French TV show Taratata today, the members of the band were there yesterday and thanks to fans who attended the taping we already have some interesting info about the show, which will air on French TV in February.

At the show, Simple Plan revealed two sneak peeks of new songs from their upcoming album “Taking One For The Team” (coming out February 19th) – for the song “Everything Sucks” (which we have already heard the demo of a while back) and or the first time ever also “Singing In The Rain”! However it is safe to assume that the attendees definitely wouldn’t be allowed to film the sneak peeks, so we’ll have to wait for them a little bit longer.

Regarding their performance, Simple Plan played their first single “I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed” and also performed a cover of the song “Can’t Feel My Face” by The Weeknd. This may be our first clue to the songs the boys may insert into their party medley on their nex tour.

First video sneak peeks of “I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed” music video

Simple Plan released the first three video sneak peaks from their upcoming new music video for the song “I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed”, which will be the band’s lead single from their new album and will be released on October 16th. In the first sneak peek, which still doesn’t show us any audio unfortunately, we see Jeff Stinco as the character “Q-Ball” walking from a parked yellow pick-up truck on what seems to be a beach:

And the second sneak peek shows Pierre Bouvier hasselhoffing his way through the waves:

Chuck Comeau also did some of the hasselhoffing, as the character “Dax”:

In the 4th sneak peek you can check out David Desrosiers as “Captain Rider”:

And finally Seb Lefebvre as “J.C. Cunningham” (can you see the Patrick Langlois reference there? :):

First sneak peeks from the new music video for “Boom”!

Looks like Simple Plan’s upcoming new music video for the song “Boom” for which they filmed bits on Warped Tour but also properly today in Montreal has it’s director! It seems that the music video is being directed by Jessy Fuchs, a Canadian music video director, who’s previously worked on music videos for e.g. Obey The Brave or Crash Ton Rock.

On his Instagram, Jessy Fuchs decided to put up two short previews of what the fans can expect from this music video. Check them out:
