Simple Plan are working in the studio with a very big crew of talented people on their new record and in their newest vlog, Pierre and Chuck introduced their newest addition to this crew: Lenny Castro [see the most recent photos in the gallery!].
Lenny Castro is an American freelance percussionist, who’s previously worked with quite the number of successful artists, such as Adele, The Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Maroon 5 or The All-American Rejects!
You can check out what Lenny might bring to this new Simple Plan record with his percussion skills in the new vlog below:
Simple Plan always seem to have some surprises up their sleeves! According to Chuck’s recent Instagram post, a new Simple Plan song was getting mixed yesterday by Joe Zook, one of the most successful engineers/mixers in the industry (Pink, Katy Perry, OneRepublic, One Direction, Plain White T’s, The Hives etc.), for a “a very special project”. Details should be coming soon according to Chuck, which gives us time to guess what this special secret project could be. Could the song possibly be featured in a new film? Or used some other way?
The picture of Chuck and Joe mixing the new SP song in the studio, along with more new studio pictures from the recent days, can be found in the gallery:
Simple Plan continue with releasing more vlogs from their studio sessions and today they put up their most recent vlog, in which David takes you behind the scenes of the gang vocals for “Everything Sux” and “Boom”.
